The Mark Ellis Quartet
Cool & Funky Jazz
Led by professional saxophonist Mark Ellis (The Temptations, Percy Sledge, Ben E King, Aerosmith, Dennis Rollins). Cool jazz and old-school funk in the style of Charlie Parker, Maceo Parker, Groover Wasington Jnr, Miles Davis, John Coltrane etc. A jazz vocalist can also be added to this group if required.
Previous experience: The members of The Mark Ellis Quartet have worked professionally with The Temptations, Dennis Rollins, Percy Sledge, Ben E King, Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Peter Kay, 5ive, SClub 7, Mica Paris, Kenny Thomas, Andy Abraham, John Parr and Pee Wee Ellis.
Line up: Sax, Bass, Piano, Drums. Vocals can be added.
